因爲有著玩具們的陪伴，
我的童年並不寂寞～
My childhood was never lonely because I had toys to keep me company.
8-bit紅白機的經典遊戲，
或許不如現在精緻，
但總可和好友，
愉快地玩過一個個午後。
Games in the 8-bit home video game console might have been simple, but it was nevertheless a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
長大了，
發現這些美好事物，
正隨著時間慢慢地被遺忘....

《什麼不見了》是二搞創意首次的繪本創作，也是以圖像故事為創作目標的起點。
Key Vision Description:
《What is missing》 is the first picture book illustrated by the Buddy Make Studio, intending to tell a meaningful story through illustration.
書中所呈現的時空背景設定在一九八零年代的台灣小鄉鎮，當時也是作者珍貴的童年時光。由於難以忘懷當時的點點滴滴，因此藉由描繪一對祖孫的有趣互動，重現小時候的場景。成長於那個年代的孩子現今都已經到了為人父母的年紀，相信他們必能深刻感受到作品所傳達出的舊日情懷，充滿人情味的街坊互動，這是一代人的集體記憶，也願過往的美好能繼續傳遞給下一代。
Set in the backdrop of small towns in Taiwan in the 1980’s, this book reflects the era that also holds the cherished childhood memories of the author. Using illustrated interactions between a grandparent and a grandchild, the scenes of his childhood are re-enacted. People who grew up in the 80’s may now be parents themselves, but they are sure to enjoy these nostalgic memories portrayed within the setting of a warm neighbourhood, as it is a shared memory for everyone who grew up in the 80’s. It is a hope that these wonderful moments can be passed on to the next generation.
